Hi, I'm PJ, the bass player for the Good Rockin' Daddies. I have the biggest guitar in the band. It only has four big strings, but they make the lowest notes. I like the low notes the best! When I lay down those bass grooves, everybody really wants to dance!

My job is to pay close attention to our drummer, Rocky. He and I form the rhythm section, so we must play very well together. We create the musical foundation that the other instruments and singers are supported by. My job is a very important one, and is part of the reason that the songs on our album "Born To Boogie" sound so good.

When you listen to our album, try to see if you can single out the low bass guitar notes. They are the deep sounds you can hear in the background, behind the singing and guitars. Can you hear it? That's me just doing my job, lowdown, solid, and funky!
